How to Set Up a Proxy in Telegram

Open Telegram Settings
Launch Telegram → tap ☰ (three lines) → "Settings" → "Data and Storage" → "Proxy Settings".
Enter Proxy Details
Tap "Add Proxy" → select SOCKS5. Enter the Server address, Port, Username and Password from your dashboard. Tap the checkmark ✓ to save.
Done! Telegram Is Using the Proxy
A green checkmark and "Connected" status will appear next to the proxy. All Telegram traffic now goes through the mobile IP of the selected country.
Open Telegram Settings
Launch Telegram → "Settings" (gear icon at the bottom) → "Data and Storage" → "Proxy" → "Add Proxy".
Fill in SOCKS5 Parameters
Select SOCKS5 type. Fill in: Server — address from your dashboard, Port, Username, and Password. Tap "Done".
Proxy Connected
Enable the "Use Proxy" toggle. The status will change to "Connected". Your Telegram now works through a mobile IP.
Open Connection Settings
Telegram Desktop → ☰ "Settings" → "Advanced" → "Connection type" → "TCP via SOCKS5".
Enter Connection Details
Fill in the fields: Hostname (server address), Port, Username and Password from your dashboard. Click "Save".
Connection Established
Telegram Desktop will connect via the SOCKS5 proxy. The connection settings will show "Connected" status.
